Welcome to Rowan Barn... A beautifully converted barn and dairy, offering quality bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation. The barn and dairy were once part of the Godolphin Estate which is situated in picturesque Cornish countryside near to the village of Townshend, Hayle but also being no more than 4 miles to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Rowan Barn has been lovingly restored by its present owners, Huw and Sally Jones, who bought the derelict barn back in August 2006, along with 5 acres of surrounding land. They have painstakingly transformed the barn over a 2 year period, ensuring the original features are maintained. One of the barns main features are the Breton style of bricks over the windows and the use of granite quoins around the doors and windows, all in place due to the Godolphin Estate having owned a granite quarry in Constantine, Falmouth. Rowan Barn has also been awarded 4 Stars and a Silver Award. |
